 om LeGoff is a celebrity portrait photographer that has an amazing
capacity to catch minute and intimate gestures from his sitters.
He regularly exercises this talent by photographing weddings.
Contrary to traditional cookie-cutter wedding photography that
can be indistinguishable from one event to the next; Tom excels
in revealing the uniqueness of each couple. His clientele is
hip, urban and beautiful, and his off-beat style captures their
individual radiance as they vow to spend their lives together.
Understanding that Tom's hip target audience was also
brides-to-be we felt that our design needed to evoke some of the
delicate romance inherent in the wedding ceremony without
delving too much into the frilly tendencies of tradition.
The site we created delicately frames Tom's work. His eclectic
couples stand on beaches, jump on trampolines, take their vows
in front of Romanesque alters and yet are all equally at home.

Tom's portfolio uses the same engine as series of photographer's
sites that we have done that are made with Flash and XML. Like
the others this is a Flash site that uses its ActionScript to
access an XML file. That file in turn instructs Flash to load
jpgs sitting in a folder on the server. The advantage of using
XML is that the photos are loaded on demand, avoiding long
loading wait times, and unnecessary processor strain.
