 n the second Friday of every month DJ Miss Modular gathers the
alternative music scene's faithful followers for a
dance-all-night indie-pop extravaganza. Committed to exposing
artists that would otherwise go unnoticed as mainstream music
marketing passed them by, Miss Modular cultivates a crowd that
is equally dedicated. Her hip, artsy audience pours over her
playlists, and tunes into her 24/7 streaming radio station for
her future classics and forgotten rarities.
Miss Modular needed a website that would allow her party-goers
to access these resources online and that would also profess the night's
manifesto—a declaration of "indie-pendence: great music without
pretension". This site accomplishes that from its opening page.
The flavor of Mondo is perfectly captured with the mod vector
art and op-art background graphics.
