 ig Arrow Consulting Group is
comprised of a half dozen talented individuals with extensive
backgrounds in branding and advertising. They chose to leave the
corporate environment for a more hands-on and personal approach
to working with their clientele and so formed Big Arrow, a small
strategy and creative company. They are bright, energetic people
that invite their clients to join them — to take a "Seat at the
Table" — and become part of the process in building their own
brands.
Big Arrow required an online presence that would show their
lively personalities and yet still reflect the seriousness of
their commitment to their client's needs. They wanted their site
to achieve that delicate balance between accessibility and
integrity. They needed to appeal to clients in a way that was
stripped of pretensions but they still needed to demonstrate their education
and experience.
The site designed by SeedyPumpkins used a bright color palette
and a little animation to create a dynamic and engaging
environment. The cheerful colors included heavily stylized
portraits of the Big Arrow principals, which helped to create a
personal touch — to humanize the site — without the relying on
generic stock photography, or obviously posed 'candid' shots.
The grid formation and conservative framework of the site
allowed SeedyPumpkins to explore some fun surprise interactivity
without making the site look foolish or silly and thus
alienating a serious corporate client.

By adding Flash elements to the otherwise static site framework,
SeedyPumpkins created a compelling interface that would always
appear fresh.
SeedyPumpkins also created a special cross-referencing Flash
component for the Big Arrow "Our Expertise" page that allows the
user to see not only what clients Big Arrow has done work for,
but also the Services and Category that is relevant to that
client.
The "Ideas & News" section has different text areas that are
capable of being updated by Big Arrow. News can be added, as can
new contacts and resources that Big Arrow wants to share with
its clientele.
SeedyPumpkins also provided Big Arrow with an administration area
that allows them to keep the site content as fresh as the design.
